What Your Hidden Energy Block Reveals About Your Anxiety Type

If you took the quiz or read my last blog, you’ve met the four Hidden Energy Blocks that often mask anxiety:

The Disconnected One – You’ve become numb or checked out, unsure why you can’t feel joy like you used to.


Anxiety Isn’t One-Size-Fits-All. What I’ve learned (and lived) is this: Anxiety doesn’t always feel anxious. It can be buried deep beneath your thoughts, habits, and physical symptoms. More often than not, it comes from one of three roots:


💔 Emotional Anxiety: This kind stems from past emotional wounds, grief, or unresolved trauma. It often hides under irritability, reactivity, or emotional shutdown. You might feel:

  • Like you’re easily triggered by situations that don’t make sense

  • Overwhelmed by emotions you can’t name

  • Stuck in old patterns even though you want to move forward

🩺 Physical Anxiety: When the nervous system is overloaded or the body is out of balance (hello hormones, inflammation, poor sleep…), anxiety can take root in the body. You might feel:

  • Wired but tired

  • Tension in your chest, shoulders, or gut

  • Sudden surges of adrenaline or dizziness

💸 Financial Anxiety: Not just about money—it’s about safety. Even when your needs are technically met, if your nervous system is wired for scarcity, you can live in a constant state of worry. You might feel:

  • Fear around spending

  • Guilt about rest or investing in yourself

  • A sense of “never enough,” even when things are okay
